In mid-2010, Jolt Media formed RacyBunny to produce and deliver original romance and erotic stories in eBook collections. The company is committed to readers and writers of great erotica and seeks to create an online community as well as a top eBookstore.
Given the 'shyness' around the topic of erotic writing, RacyBunny feels that it is important to develop and maintain its own e-commerce sales and distribution channel. For example, some large e-commerce channels seem to edit or censor racier content and to suppress sales results and rankings of erotic books and eBooks. While these channels are pervasive and invaluable, we'd prefer to give readers and customers those choices.
We, Ally Ford and partners that is, suppose that even fun-loving erotica communities like RacyBunny need a credo. We're respectfully edgy. We're tastefully taboo and nicely naughtly. RacyBunny's all about healthy (sexual) tension.
We believe:
In the freedom to express, read, feel…
All of us are curious and sexual.
Life is too short to be embarrassed.
Technology allows great things to happen.
Words stimulate imagination better than pictures.
Good erotica is worth celebrating.
Short is sweet.
RacyBunny is meant to fill a void. As avid erotica readers, we felt that accessing high quality, playful erotic writing was tough. Our major gripe was that much of it felt dirty, or the means to getting at it felt dirty. After all, a lot of it is attached to pornography - the mags, the sites, the shops, etc. Don't get us wrong, we are anything but prudes! But, despite the broad interest in erotic lit and genres, a clean approach seemed elusive.
Through RacyBunny, we want to address this gap openly, efficiently, and playfully! Great writers, avid readers, eBooks, e-commerce, smart phones, eReaders, mobile devices, etc. all support this endeavor. This website is our showroom, eStore, library, bedroom, soapbox and bullhorn. We hope you enjoy it! Please join us to experiment and experience. By all means, contact us to tell us what you think.
